The Velocity of Valorem Law Group
This one is going to be different. We have as a client a group of experienced lawyers who have put together a business litigation group with a unique value proposition. Having a value proposition at all is a challenge for some lawyers. But to truly set up camp in a different place is noteworthy. Or, more accurately, unique.
The lawyers, Patrick J. Lamb, Hugh J. Totten, Mark Sayre and a player to be named at a later date have formed Valorem Law Group. The sound bites of differentiation include an invoice value adjustment line to give clients discretion over placing value (up or down), on services received, a collaborative team approach to clients, and contracting for legal services rather than using less experienced associate talent. The reality is deeper and richer than the sound bites. Patrick has been both blogging and speaking about this subject for some time. They are breaking some ground and have the tools to do so.
And one of those tools is their website. Duo gets to help position the firm on the internet in a manner consistent with the way Valorem Law Group is going to market. And they already have great velocity. With lots of coverage from legal bloggers and business press, Valorem’s single temporary splash page has visitor traffic that would make some established law firms envious. Google indexed the page just a few days after it was launched. That’s a greate achievement for a "website" that is one page of text on a forest green background. But now we have some cool ideas brewing for the real site. We begin today. We’ll launch when the crocus are in bloom in Illinois.
